Sound Bath
Sound Bath with Morchang.
A sound bath is not a performance. It is a passage. The morchang, played with breath and intention, opens a frequency that bypasses thought and speaks directly to the body. Few instruments on earth are as intimate.

In a world full of distraction. In an age of information overload. Varun uses the mouth harp and sound from many sources to dissolve the barriers within the body, creating an emptiness through which the mind and spirit can flow freely — bringing the heartbeat to the awareness of the mind, inviting the spirit to take up residence once again at the center. Be it through dance, meditation or simple play.

"It is a living thing. Different notes offer different energies — like wind, or stillness, or heat. It has taught me that all existence makes music and is in constant vibration."
Varun Lulla

Chakras
Traditional systems put forth that there is a subtle body organised with centres where energy pathways meet. There are seven main centres or chakras that regulate aspects of human life. Therefore, since it is important to balance these to function optimally, one can use the notes of the morchang to gently attune and nurture the chakras.
In India, the morchang's silhouette mirrors the Shivalingam — a symbol of natural and cosmic union. Tribal communities across India have long held that instruments made by hand over a holy fire carry particular powers; that their overtones are not simply pleasant but purposeful, penetrating the subtle layers of the inner world. The simplicity of a single note, shaped by breath alone, becomes a profound vehicle.
Seven notes. Like the seven colours of the rainbow, the seven seas, the seven saptarishis. Together, we move through the seven tones of the mouth harp and align them with the seven chakras — protecting, releasing, cleansing, energising, recalibrating.
